Well, I'm personally using it right now and it works fine for me.

If you've completed the community center, Marnie will send you a letter telling you that she's selling them. They can be purchased from her from then on.

Any chance of an update for
Tidy Fields and/or
Upgradable Pan - I have been informed this is now a vanilla function, Yay!

Pan feels useless without the latter, and I miss putting my torches in my scarecrows/fences to get light without 'wasting' a tile.

I'm also hoping for a tidy fields update, it's always been one of my must-have mods, and I'm a bit sad not to use it.

You should try The Return of Immersive Scarecrows and The Return of Immersive Sprinklers instead. Looks like mod author for Tidy Fields hasn't updated their code in almost 2 years, though they have been active on Nexus recently.

I use those mods already, and they are nothing alike. Tidy fields is mostly about hiding torching inside objects (scarecrow and sprinklers), but I appreciate it the suggestion.

Learned how to work with SMAPI mods to bring y'all Festival of the Mundane updated for 1.6!

I am sure this is a dumb question, but this still requires JSON assets, right? I was under the impression that JSON assets wasn't updated to 1.6, but looks like it is... I do get some errors in my log though when I tried to install JSON assets just now. Just unsure if I should be ignoring the JSON asset dependency or not!

It does still require JSON Assets to work and while the mod will load in 1.6, it is unfortunately broken. One of the central mechanics of the mod is purchasing a disguise from Hatmouse which allows you to speak the participants of the festival. You can still buy them and wear them, but speaking to anyone else at the festival gives you the same message even if you're wearing a disguise or not, and you get kicked out.
