1.6 Update Trinket Drop Rates

Hi,
I have been casually fighting in mines/skull cavern for over 1 year ingame after unlocking the Combat Mastery. I have all trinkets except for Parrot Egg and Fairy Box. I have had over 20 of each of the other trinkets other than these 2. Am I missing something? Are the drop rates of these 2 that low or my game bugged? I have even started to try and farm them particularly but still have no luck with it. Should I uninstall and reinstall the game to check if it fixes it?

No, to both of those. And I don't think reinstalling the game will fix it. It could be just down to luck, or it could be related to the game seed for your save file.
Just like how in one save I had to use a Treasure Totem to get my first Ancient Seed. They just wouldn't drop in that save.

The drop rate seems to entirely depend on your save. In one of my saves I had five or six basilisk paw trinkets, but it took over two years to get my first frog egg. I also have a save where I have seven or eight frog eggs but actually only found one single basilisk paw and no golden spur at all.

I can confirm both answers that the drops vary tremendously by save, as governed by the seed for the random number generator. As an opposite to Terdin's example, in my most recently-started save I found an Ancient Seed in a treasure chest from fishing on day 4! (Spring 4 Year 1)
