iOS Tools turn invisible?!?

Using a Gamesir g8 controller

After entering the coop and getting hay out to feed my chickens my tools are no longer showing in my toolbar. Everything else is still showing up on the toolbar though.
When I open my inventory the tools are still there but I can’t see them or use them from the toolbar.
I put them in a chest then took them back out and only one showed up (the scythe)
So I can’t feed my chickens anymore because I need to restart the day to get my tools back.
I don’t have an auto feeder, and the first day I got them put 4 hay for the two chickens, they were already asleep so day 2 they ate and then on day 3 I went to put two more hay and then this issue happened.

side note: the dynamic island on the iPhone 15 covers part of the toolbar. I know it’s not the game’s fault but it’s really annoying. Probably only something that Apple can fix, making it disappear like it does when watching a video full screen.

If your tools are in the first positions in your inventory, is it possible you inadvertently moved your toolbar? The toolbar scrolls, so if you've scrolled it down, the top positions won't show. All you have to do is scroll back up to see the first positions again.

As far as the dynamic island, you can move the toolbar to the top of your screen by going into the Options tab (controller icon) and removing the X from Vertical Toolbar. Would that help?

If only it was as simple as that, but no, unfortunately that isn’t the issue.
When I put them into a chest and then put them back occasionally one will show up again in the proper spot but not all of them.
I’m gonna see what happens if I go to sleep when they are “invisible” maybe they will somehow show up again?

But thank you so very much for the tip about moving the toolbar!! I guess I didn’t look carefully enough at the options menu because I never noticed that before.
