Linux The game goes to black and doesnt end/save when me and a 2nd player pass out in the theaters

Like the title says, me and my sibling where playing on our farm and where trying to get things from the claw machine in the movie theater. We have been forced to restart three times now because we pass out at 2am in the theater but we never get to keep what we got or save the day. We initially thought it was from passing out while playing the minigame but even if we stay in the theater it still does not save the day.
