Windows Stuck Casting fishing line (Bug)

I'm stuck in this animation whenever I try to fish. I can't do anything except for photo mode. I have to wait until 2AM for me to pass out to be able to continue as normal, but its very frustrating to not be able to fish, which is involved in quite a big chunk of the game / events. Please help me :(

Having this same issue. Not sure what to do about it, but if I figure anything out, I'll let you know.

Update: validating game files seems to have fixed the issue.
