Mac Stardew Valley Deathwatch (on Macs with Apple Silicon processors)

With the release this week of macOS Golden Gate 27.0, we may only have one year before Stardew Valley for Mac is effectively dead. Stardew is an Intel-only application that runs under Rosetta. MacOS 28 is said to not support Intel based applications, with some exceptions. Apple support notes the following:
Rosetta is available for any Mac with Apple silicon using macOS 27 or earlier. Starting with macOS 28, the next major macOS release, Rosetta functionality will be available only for certain older, unmaintained games that rely on Intel-based frameworks.
Since Stardew is not "unsupported", that may be the end for us on Macs. Here's hoping that Concerned Ape releases an Apple Silicon or Universal update before that time.
