stardew valley 1.7

Думаю, было бы интересно добавить что-то вроде осенней рощи с новым видом деревьев, скажем, берёзы. Берёзовый сок, новый цвет заборов и полов, березовые обои и новый вид птиц, например, фазан или индюшка.
I AM SO FOR BIRCH TREES!!! And turkeys!

I agree that there are soooo many ways to enjoy SDV. I have recently been taking on some of the challenge run stuff that I have seen both online and my husband has made up for me to complete, lol. Makes the game a bit harder to complete everything, but still enjoying it. I do feel that the game is complete as is. If I were to add/ change anything about the game honestly it would be the fishing aspect. I am not a fan of the mini game there, but that is because I suck at it. The rest of the game is great!

I would also like a way to kick Joja off of Ginger Island if you could, but more for flavor than utility as I am also not that good at finding all of the golden walnuts so that kinda comes in handy for me.

A function to see the beehive working would be awesome.

Also, maybe a function to change the difficulty of the game? Make it harder for challenges like the whole game not just certain points. Or for casual play if you don't want to go through all of that set it to what it is now.

I'd like to see:
An extended quest where you go up against Lewis in the mayor elections (maybe post-perfection)
If Pierre's at the resort, Jodi and Caroline step in to mind the shop
If Pam's at the resort, Kent drives the bus to Calico
Sandy to appear in the valley on Emily's birthday
Some form of annual event with the town in the community centre

Also if you really like 1.7 you can just play stardew valley expanded. It just has a major 1.15 update as well. A 2.0 update is also underway. Also stardew valley expanded is arguably canon since its creator Flashshifter worked with CA on 1.6 update.
i know this post was a while ago but Stardew Valley Expanded it is DEFINITELY NOT canon, no mod is! FlashShifter will also attest to this, his mod projects are not and never will be included in the canon in any way

on topic: honestly what i want more than anything else is just a lot more dialogue, i can never get enough of it, so more situations with it the better. the characters have always been my favorite part of the game so even if the update is just "i added like 10 lines of dialogue for every npc" i'd poo my pants

I strongly disagree with the player going up against Lewis in elections, as I like to pretend that he does work. If we become mayor it would become our responsibility. Forcing the player's hand in doing specific work would impact the vibe of the game I am against it. HOWEVER, I would like to see other characters go up against him in elections. Maybe our spouse? Though it would be awkward if we were to divorce them lol.

I really like the rest of your suggestions, to add a few similar;
Have someone work at Clint's on Fridays or when he is at the resort.
Have Leah work at the Carpenters when Robin is away on Tuesdays or at the resort.
Have Emily work the bar when Gus is at the resort.
In general I really like the idea of younger characters stepping up and working when others are not available.

Personal additions to the game;
Something should be done about the kids' education. Maybe there should be some dialogue about how they have to take standardized tests or other proof that they are learning. This has always bothered me. Is anyone double-checking that Penny is a good teacher? She does not seem qualified to me. I tend to avoid her when she teaches because it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I would like a storage organization system for decorations. I have multiple big chests of random stuff I accumulated in my playthrough. It's hard to find the stuff that I'm interested in when decorating, and I don't want to get rid of it until I get the corresponding furniture catalogue for each item because I don't know what is one-of-a-kind and what is generic. Maybe a generic "furniture catalogue" similar in function to the wardrobe would be helpful.

Penny seems like a fine teacher for them. What gives you the impression she isn't? The kids are what...like first or second grade? Jas seemed to know well enough what a natural resource was in Penny's 8-heart event, while most kids her age nowadays wouldn't have a clue.
Besides, much like how Penny asks the player's help in teaching them about farming, I assume she similarly goes about town asking other residents to help teach about subjects they are well versed in. Harvey could help with biology. Demetrius does science. Clint helps with geology. And so on.
I'd choose that kind of teaching environment any day, as opposed to being stuck in a classroom every day for 6-7 hours. Those kids are really lucky.

Oh wow, you imagine them a lot younger than I have. I considered them to be similar in age to Leo, who I considered to be 13/14 (considering he is able to survive alone on the island). I thought they were in middle school, for grades 6/7 they seem severely under-educated. However, if they are in grade 1 or 2, then they are definitely getting enough education, and Penny would be a good teacher.

I carry a magnet. It goes in the bait slot on the rod and displaces any bait there to your inventory.
I love this as I am rubbish at fishing I would love a step by step ( the b button then then... a button.. ) I don't know what I'm doing. Period.. how do I pick up bait, bobber etc... HELP!!!
I'm at a level 6 but have gotten there with crab pots. Never even been able to catch sea weed. I only have the fishing left to complete in the community center.
