iOS Squid fest day one squid count reset , no rewards

I caught at least 23 squid day one.. popped at tent at 1:50 am. The next day my squid count was gone! It says on description of event you can collect your rewards all at once. but I didn’t get my day one rewards. I took a screenshot of my squid counting the end of day two, but this was after I used at least 12-15 squid for bait. Still have bait left over. Basically I had enough to get max rewards both days. im on ios using my iPad, mobile, Apple Arcade

You have to collect your rewards on the same day you catch your Squid. The numbers don't roll over to the next day, sorry. From the Wiki:

"There are 4 tiers of prizes: copper, iron, gold and iridium. The squids needed to be caught for each tier are listed on a sign to the left of the shop. The amount of squid the player has caught is shown in a counter on the top-left corner. The counter resets between days."

SquidFest is a fishing mini festival which takes place at the Beach on the 12th and 13th of every Winter. The festival begins at 6:10am and ends at 2:00am on both days. During the festival, Squid can be caught all day long. Catching certain amounts of squid will earn the player prizes.
