I think there should be a way for the player to call the spouse whenever they're at the Ginger Island Farmhouse. Whether it be just to check on them or have them come over to the Ginger Island Farmhouse to help out with crops. Also, if the player had children, they could also come with to the Farmhouse on Ginger Island. That way the spouse hearts don't go down.
