Cave Updates

I would love to see some updates with the caves. The farm cave would be great if it could:
- Be moderately expandable over time with help from Clint/Demetrius.
- Be transitioned from mushrooms to fruit bats, or potentially both
- Grow moss on the walls or add stone structures to grow moss on.
- Have a source of water, maybe a secret or exclusive cave fish

At the very least, the cave on Ginger Island is also a mushroom cave. It would be nice if that cave could be the opposite of the cave on the farm.

This one's good, would love more ways to get moss.

I like the GI mushroom cave as it is, but having it be the opposite given that the mushroom variant wouldn't change (to boxes from which you need to harvest basic quality ones daily), might be interesting.

Also love the moss growing on some stone structures and the idea of a fish area would be nice. Maybe a small corridor at the back of the cave that lead to a lake with a island on the middle where those stones would stand (moss and moisture go together) and where you could fish the same fish from the first lake of the mines and an extra new one, perhaps.

Now one interesting idea that I had is that the those upgrades could be unlocked not with Demetrius but with Grandpa. My idea is that the cave would have 3 empty pedestals in the wall/ground for the 3 statues of the game and when the player unlocks is first (normally statue of perfection) and places it on its pedestal grandpa would come and say that each statue would upgrade the cave. Each adding a new upgrade that would be:
  1. Statue of perfection: open the path to the lake with fish
  2. Statue of endless fortune: places the bridge to island in the middle of the lake that has the moss generating stone pillars (maybe 4/5 pillars) plus giving a chance for treasure chests to now be obtainable when fishing in the cave
  3. Statue of true perfection: turns the pedestals where the statues sit into a small chest (9 slots) like interface that will automatically pick up the daily gifts of the statues and store them. This would also give a chance for when an item is picked up to be doubled, maybe 1/2 % chance.

This is my idea of the layout, more or less. What do you think?

Ooooh sounds really nice and gives you another reason to buy the statue of endless fortune because currently I ignore it for most part.
The only thing is that I'd probably forget about the statues if they were in the cave and not inside the farmhouse, so maybe let us pick them up after activating the upgrade and place back there again when we unlock the last upgrade.
