Switch Spouse ceases to exist?

Once, I went to Calico Desert and discovered my spouse had gained the power of levitation. He was following his normal route like he was in Pelican Town and he just walked onto the lake and stopped in the middle of it.

No worries! I don’t have the resort unlocked in this save file yet. But I do in my other one, so when Elliot was gone, I checked Ginger Island and he wasn’t there. And he never came to bed. And then when I saw him the next morning, he said “sorry about the mess in my cabin” lol Elliot we’ve been married 5 years. So my dialogue is a little messed up too. My wedding cutscene with Seb was also missing a good chunk of dialogue. All Lewis said after saying I was now a part of the community was “Sebastian…. You may kiss”. He never pronounced us husband and wife lol

I know this thread is old but I wanted to mention I noticed the new dialog too. Same for me, no more "husband and wife" just "You may kiss." It looks like CA changed that intentionally.

Ohhhh that would make sense. But also it just said Sebastian’s name and not mine. So I dunno I think something is still up.

So I think this bug has been fixed? I started a new save and married Sam this time. He’s always back home at night, so either it’s a Seb and Elliot only problem or it’s gone! Or me deleting all my saves and starting completely over did the trick idk
