Switch Alex Gets Mad When I Kiss Him

So I'm playing a boy and wanted to try and marry Alex this time. So I did, we got married the 1st of Winter but whenever I kiss him the bubble for being grumpy pops up. I've tried it on the porch, on other days when he's in the kitchen, he just always seems mad. Is this just part of his character or is it a glitch?

Okay update, I gave him something he loved. Bumped it back up to 10 and he's happy when I kiss him.

It was probably cuz you haven't been talking to him everyday or giving him a gift at least once a week. Make sure to do these things and kiss him everyday to get to 14, and to not let it go down!
