Not sure if this is across other platforms, but at least on the iOS version, when you meet Maru in the mountains for the 14-heart event, you dialog with her, then she tells you to look into the telescope at the comet, and the screen goes completely black for about 30 seconds before it returns to finish the dialog of the event.
