Yes, it doubles the speed. Get on your horse as well, and you just see a faint glimmer where the farmer used to be :D
Oh! - live and learn - thanks!Yes, you can get +2 speed that way, it's great. :D
That's what I figured - curious to see what the screenshot of it looks like.Yes, it doubles the speed. Get on your horse as well, and you just see a faint glimmer where the farmer used to be :D
Wasn't able to get a picture of it, went too fast. But this is the recovery phase the day afterThat's what I figured - curious to see what the screenshot of it looks like.
I figure this quest and Qi's Prismatic Grange are to empty out all your underused piles of crops and stuff in fridges and chests, so my logic was always to see what recipes I could make the most of right away, make and ship those, then go back to Pierre's to buy more dry goods and finish up. I usually have triple digit blueberries and blackberries, and lately pineapples, and often have similar numbers of peppers and tomatoes, and visiting the beach on GI usually nets me a whole lot of extra sashimi, which is cheap but helps to top it up.Excuse me if I blather on here, nice with new stuff to do I guess
How do people prefer to do Qi's Cuisine quest? It's the one for shipping produced dishes worth 100,000g.
Skull Cavern is my go-to place for all the ores! So many nodes spawn there, plus I don't feel so bad using Staircases and Bombs in Skull Cavern.I know about that recipe, but I'm desperately short on copper bars too, and that's after buying a lot of copper, iron and coal from Clint. Back when I still frequented the skull cavern, I actually went there several times just hunting for copper ores. It was a freaky experience, ignoring stairs and even iridium in favour of lousy copper.

Absolutely. When fishing I always carry 2 cork bobbers, one in inventory and one on my pole. When the one on the pole is getting low, I swap it out. When I get back I put it in the deconstructor.PS: For spinners and suchlike, amount of uses left doesn't seem to matter. I had a dressed spinner with 1-2 uses left and put it in the machine, and still ended up with Cloth. So you can even use them, as long as they don't entirely complete, and still get back the resources. Very nice!
Again, absolutely. In fact, you can't catch the original legendary fish at all during the quest, only the next generation. Additionally, you can do the quest multiple times, like once per week if it keeps coming up... and it will come up again. Are we supposed to be able to get several copies of the Legend II and suchlike? It's not possible for the original legendary fish. But during that quest I was still lacking the Crimsonfish (the one in the pier), and as the quest was during summer, I figured I'd try to fish up that one too after getting the Qi quest version. Another wicked wild one bit, but up comes yet another Crimsonfish Jr or whatever it was called.
