this is the weirdest cutscene I ever encountered in this game. I went into Pierre's shop and for some reason I was in his bedroom? And found his secret stash????

wat da heck?

I have so many questions. What kind of stash did I find? Is it weed? Hard drugs? I'm so confused but at the same time kind of tickled that CA would put something like that in the game? I guess it's not so unreasonable considering Pam and Shane have problems with alcohol. And it's pretty common for people in small towns with not much to do to turn to stuff like that. But... Pierre?? With Pam and Shane you kinda get right away that they have a problem. Pierre's stash was totally out of left field. Wild. I'm always surprised by the amount of mini-dramas going on in this small town. Also for a cozy game there's some surprisingly dark elements in it. I bet Haley sells feet videos online to fund her shopping addiction and Marnie has a meth lab out behind the stables. Don't even get me started on what Clint gets up to in his downtime.

Anyways, I hope it's just something relatively harmless like weed. Otherwise me and my hubby Sam are going to pull up to his shop like

I didn't know about that translation, but that was my first thought as well: it's money.

His business is in trouble. He's gotten a very bad job offer from Joja. He and his wife are supporting their daughter through college. Caroline is happy their water bill will be a little lower when it rains but also feequently states she's buying takeout from the saloon for dinner. He's suggested to be on the insecure side.
He's stashing cash in case everything goes south but doesn't want his family to know he isn't confident the shop will be okay.

A friend of mine assumed it was porn. I guess it really is open to all kinds of interpretations.
