Mac Registered double clicking in Mac full screen mode only

I'm running version v1.6.14 on MacOS 15.1.1 and I'm running in to an issue where each click (mouse or trackpad) registers as a double click. However, this only happens in full screen mode. Has anyone run into this problem because I can't seem to find anything on it.

I don't have a solution sadly :(

I'm here to add on to this - macOS 15.2 and 1.6.15 - my mouse is registering the left click as either a double click or a click & hold. The right click seems to be fine? And this happened to me in both windowed and full screen modes. This is the latest post I could find after googling about it... hope it gets resolved somehow
