Question about grabber machines in movie theaters

I've watched other people's videos where he can just clip the items on the right conveyor belt, but every time I try to clip the items on the right conveyor belt it always gets blocked by those two trees.Is there a trick to this?

1. You can grab them right before/between/after the trees

2. You can grab a tree first and collect it or dump it out of the way

You hold the button to lower the crane before releasing (or reaching the full length) for it to move into grabbing position. If you're grabbing the trees in the back, then you might just be keeping the crane too high before release.
