As of wiki, lucky purple shorts prevent tackle in the second slot from losing durability when placed in the first one. However after my rod was enchanted with Preserving, this effect stopped working. In coding terms i think enchantment somehow just overrides shorts logic here.

P.S.
Using shorts together with "preserving" i expect shorts to keep my tackle invisible, while "preserving" saves me some bait

This particular save was used as a multiplayer and modded. However i've seen this bug at singleplayer saves as well.
Also i loaded this old save of mine without any mods just to test it again to be sure (rod here had no enchantments), so mods are not the issue
