Actually I dont need a restart for sprinklers.
But I would like to see sprinklers also water fields without crops.

They do, they water all tilled fields. No crops necessary.

A power switch would be useful for the first day of the season or when you're making new fields.

To make it less overpowered, I would prefer if the sprinkler watered once when you set them down.
