You can adjust the crafting recipe for Sprinklers

Hello everyone, I'm a long-time Stardew Valley player and I'd like to suggest some changes to the sprinkler recipes. Specifically, I'd like the author to replace the Iron Bat with Quality Sprinkler and the Gold Bat with Quality Sprinkler for Iridium Sprinkler.
I want to be able to reuse the sprinklers at the initial stages because when Iridium sprinklers are available, there are too many other sprinklers left over that can only be put into a recycling machine.

I like your upgrade idea. However, it would mean that people would always have to craft the basic sprinklers even if they don't want to use them. I usually skip the basic sprinklers because I hate the gaps and messy layout plus I use all my copper bars for tappers. I go straight to quality sprinklers. When I get the iridium recipe I start replacing the quality sprinklers. Then I get pressure nozzles from the Qi walnut room and reuse my old quality sprinklers with pressure nozzles on Ginger Island.

I do the same. I usually get the recipe for quality sprinklers early enough so watering by hand is fine, even while never upgrading my watering can. I barely use iridium sprinklers tho, if I get them somewhere, cool, but I never craft a lot of them.

What if instead of modifying the recipe, allow some NPC (I guess it could be Clint) to upgrade your sprinklers for some money+resources?
