option to mute thunder sounds and summer insect buzzing

hello,

i hate the thunder sound effects, as well as the insect buzzing sounds that play in the summer. the thunder is too loud. i enjoy hearing the rain though, and the other ambient noises. i wish there was an option to turn off the thunder sounds. and possibly the buzzing too, but the thunder is definitely worse.

if you are okay with modding your game, you can try the mod called NoThunderSound

I haven't seen any mods to remove insect sounds though unfortunately
