iOS No audio on I pad version

Hello,
stardew Valley on my iPad 17 has no audio. The audio stopped working for music and sound effects a couple years ago. I stopped playing as I wasn’t playing that often anyway. I wanted to pick the game back up but the audio is still not functioning. I’ve already tried all the settings in the menu and I tried making sure my iPad notifications sound was on as that was a suggestion I saw online.
The only thing I can think of is to delete the app and reinstall….but….i am worried I’ll loose my four year farm and will have to rebut it? Any suggestions helpful

You could back up your save to a computer, then transfer it back to your iPad after reinstalling the game if it gets lost.

The game saves progress when the in-game day ends, i.e., when the farmer goes to bed, collapses from exhaustion, or collapses at 2am. All progress during a day is lost if the player quits the game without ending the day. In multiplayer, the game saves after all players click through the prompts...
