Hi!
That's my first post, I'm from Brazil, so sorry about my english if I made some mistake!
I started to play Stardew back in 2022, but only in 2024 I began to use MODs, I coudn't do what I wanted so I deleted the SMAPI, but I didn't unistalled, I just erased the files from my computer and unistalled Stardew Valley. On 2025, I reinstalled Stardew and notice that my game was muted. No sound at all. I just unistalled again and forgot about it ti'll 2026. Reinstalled Stardew and had the same problem, I wasn't going to play, but I was eager to. So I tried EVERYTHING. Everything that I could to solve this issue.
Only Stardew Valley is affected by this issue, other games are still working just as they should.
Let's begin the checklist!
- The game is not muted on my computer;
- I tried different sound devices (I use voice meeter banana on my computer);
- I installed Smapi and reinstalled by the correct way this time;
- Updated drivers and audio drivers;
- Reinstalled the XNA Microsoft;
- Reinstalled the SoundAl;
- Tried multiple time "bugs" like restart the game after change to window mode and fullscreen again;
- Switched the game version to compability and all the other options.
I've tried pretty much anything that I found about the subject but nothing works. My only clue is a princtscreen of when I reinstalled the smapi, I believe that it showed me the error, but it's beyonf my understanding. I'm posting this thread because I don't know how to solve this. I've been playing Stardew with no sound because I really enjoy the game but I'm tired of mute maxxing (jokes), please help me, you are my only hope.
