Description:
After skipping the initial sword acquisition event in the mines,
monster behavior became permanently abnormal on my save file.
When I attack monsters with a sword, there is a brief lag,
and then the monsters are launched at extremely high speed,
as if they are flying or sliding away.
When monsters attack, they also rush toward the player at very high speed.
This behavior happens consistently in the mines and Skull Cavern
and persists even after restarting the game or advancing days.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a new game on Nintendo Switch.
2. Unlock the mines.
3. Skip the initial sword acquisition event.
4. Enter the mines and fight monsters.
Expected Behavior:
Monsters should have normal knockback and movement behavior.
Actual Behavior:
Monsters experience lag after being hit and then move or attack at extremely high speed.
Notes:
This issue appears to be tied to the save file.
Because this is the Nintendo Switch version, I am unable to provide the save file.
