The way I play, I often find myself running out of energy in the early game. If you have the same problem, it will probably be more useful for your first farm animal building to be a barn rather than a coop. Cheese is one of the best food sources in the game (+125 energy at base quality, +225 energy at gold quality), and with a starter barn you can make four every day.

Welcome! If you get stuck on something, don't hesitate to ask, or for that matter find out yourself on the wiki. Just remember that there's no real rush to do anything (apart from various forms of requests that have a time limit, and there's no penalty for failing those). The seasons will come again, the requests will show up again if you run out of time. And for those that don't have a time limit, they'll wait for you until you hand over the requested item.

Most choices in the game can be made anew (apart from what to do with the cave on your farm) with some time and/or G. Picked the wrong spouse? You can file for divorce, but it will cost you. Picked the wrong profession for a skill? You will come across a way to remake that choice, for a cost.

Hello, and welcome to the forums! :wchicken: I'm glad you were able to find us
My advice would be to have a chest you keep your tools in. This might not work for everyone, but the inventory starts out pretty small (plus it's pricey to upgrade), and it's been helpful for me to just pick 2 or 3 tools to carry around. It seems so obvious, and yet I spent so long trying to keep all my tools in my inventory at all times...
