Benefit of Community Center VS Joja Mart

So I found out recently that you can complete all the repairs about town through the Joja Mart if you get a membership there. I have played on and off for a few years without ever discovering that. However there is one large difference other than time consumption of course.

Each overall bundle has many smaller bundles waiting for completion. Every time you complete those smaller bundles you receive a useful reward that can aid you in your play through. While there is no right or wrong way to play this game, I thought it pertinent to mention that if you’re not interested in the bundle rewards, and just wanted to play without worrying about seasonal items, perhaps going with Joja is the choice for you.

No shade, no snarky remarks, just a simple observation that I thought I should share. I, personally, have never tried a Joja run, and probably should at least once. While the community center can certainly test your patience trying to complete sometimes, overall, I find it fun and rewarding. I’m not the best at fishing. It takes me forever to finish those bundles. However I certainly have fun trying.

Joja Mart is technically easier because most of it is just throwing money for upgrades instead of waiting for certain items like Truffles, Goat Cheese and certain rare fish with rare appearance windows like Pufferfish or Walleye. Besides that though… it’s also super boring and doesn’t really feel as satisfying to plate so I just choose Community Center since it’s more interesting to optimize.

I like Joja because when you're a member the prices match Pierre's, and they're open longer. However, if you go that route, it's all about earning money, so that can get a bit boring.

I've done a few Joja runs. One was just because I needed a just one more fish and it was either pay Morris for a membership and the panning/boulder removal, or wait two seasons to try and get that particular fish. So I'd already had the small rewards for all but the one bundle, and didn't have the patience to wait. (I wanted to get to Ginger Island that winter!)

I always do the Community Center to test and increase my skills in completing quest, but at some point, I want to try Joja for speedrun (I've never try it though). For beginners, it's absolutely worth to try Community Center for the best experience, since it contains quests that requires a lot of things to do. Joja tends to be more boring because all you have to do is just earn some money and pay some to complete the quest, so it's good for seasoned player who wants to try Joja or just want to do speedrun, or like @KarinL mentioned there, it's quite good if you need to complete quest but the items you need is out of season or have a very specific requirements.
