I'm at Feast of the Winter Star, my Secret friend is Leo. I'm in the 5th yr and have no hearts with him... he's not at the Feast ....

This is a known bug. Sadly this means you will not be able to give a gift to him and get the bonus friendship from a gift given at the Feast this year.
