my foraging skill isnt going up no more :(

im on summer year 3, chopped every tree in sight, and bought a bunch of those woodworker weekly books, yet my foraging skill is STILL at 9, its been like this since fall of year 1, any help?

It takes 10.000 points to get to level 9, and another 5.000 to get from 9 to 10. You get 14 points when you chop down a tree, so it just takes a very long time.

foraging usually comes 4th out of 5 for me. Just takes a long time to grind it out. chopping the regenerating hardwood stumps in the secret woods (or forest farm, if you've got it) every single day can speed things up a bit as they're the most XP Valuable foraging action at 25 Per. But the 5000 XP to go from 9 to 10 would still take 200 stumps, and the woods only gives you 6 a day.

I think Woodcutter Weekly gives you 250, which is still 20 copies of the book. So don't hold your breath, it will happen it just takes a while.

I think you just need to do more foraging things like tree chopping, and reading foraging books definitely helps
