my foraging skill isnt going up no more :(

im on summer year 3, chopped every tree in sight, and bought a bunch of those woodworker weekly books, yet my foraging skill is STILL at 9, its been like this since fall of year 1, any help?

It takes 10.000 points to get to level 9, and another 5.000 to get from 9 to 10. You get 14 points when you chop down a tree, so it just takes a very long time.
