More pet options?

Hi, I'm new here, and I don't know if this topic has already been suggested, but something I'd love to see is more options for pets! Maybe they could be unlocked after year 1, and give you the option to adopt more diverse pets from Marnie (i.e rabbits, more breeds of cat and dog, guinea pigs, gerbils, fish, etc.)? Just an idea that I think would be a fun little update in the future!

I'm always for more pets/animals, and yes, this suggestion has come up a lot.
But more people suggesting it shows more demand to the devs, so it's good.
I mean, i'm always for more of ANYthing, which includes animals, but also crops, recipes etc. haha!

I'd love having some more animals to unlock later on, maybe more than 1 year later, as the game's time (without timespeed mod) is pretty short for each year.
Later areas(what we have now, but also what may come in the future) could also be required to unlock them after like 3+ years or so.

As Kurachi84 has written it would be cool, to have really late game additions. So such could be nice after year three as well.

I’m also eager to have a second pet on the farm…

But only if neither of them are ever allowed in certain spaces that block doorways or paths leaving the farm. Little cuties just want the attention, I’m sure but… no more please.
