Mobile Players: Would You Like Keyboard Support?

I’ve been playing Stardew on both PC and on PS5 (I’ve created multiple games) for almost a year now. I’ve been loving it so much that I thought it would be nice to purchase the mobile iOS version for when I’m travelling. I have a magic keyboard that I use almost constantly with my iPad and I was excited to use it to play without hauling my gaming laptop with me. So imagine my surprise when I bought the game on mobile only to find that keyboard controls are not available!

From what I’ve been able to read on available forums, players have been wondering about and asking for keyboard control support for mobile play (on Android as well as iOS) for years, now. I’m actually truly surprised that this hasn’t been addressed, yet. Then I thought that maybe developers haven’t really seen a need to add keyboard support for mobile because there isn’t very much demand for it. And then I noticed that you can create polls…

So all that being said: I’m genuinely curious. If you play Stardew Valley on mobile, what software do you use and would you like to be able to play with the use of a keyboard/trackpad/mouse? I tried to cover all of the options I felt were most relevant to the issue. If there’s something I missed or if you have any other thoughts, please do share them in the comment section! I’d love to read them and chat.

I play on PC, but one of the things stoping me from getting the mobile version of SDV is that I'm not sure if I'd like the mobile controls very much. Besides that, if there's people who want it that already do play on mobile, I think it should be an option for them :)

I play on mobile and I'd never even thought of that. I have no idea what playing with a keyboard or anything else is like, so I don't have anything to compare to and say if touch controls are preferable to me. I'm kind of neutral. I guess it should be an option for those who want it and for those who didn't know they need it just to find out how good it is.
