can magic bait be used to fish up ANY fish in the game meaning in the correct type of water (salt or sea) you could catch crab pot fish or are crab pot fish unique to crab pots?
second part:
if crab pot fish can be caught with a rod, could you catch a treasure chest with them and get for example lobster roe from fishing with the jewels of the sea book?

i was curious as to just how many items could be caught via fishing and this stumped me

To my knowledge, crab pot fish can't be caught with a rod, not even with magic bait. To get lobster roe, you need to put a lobster in a fish pond.
