I lost a save file worth like 2-3 hours... tried everything I found online to retrieve it but didn't work.
I'm playing on the latest version of the game, on Steam.
For context, my farm is named "Garnacho's", so my save files are also called like this.
I already tried (on C:\Users\moreo\AppData\Roaming\StardewValley\Saves):
-Deleting Garnachos_403644955
-Renaming Garnachos_403644955_old to Garnachos_403644955
-Deleting SaveGameInfo
-Renaming SaveGameInfo_old to SaveGameInfo
And viceversa (deleting the files that included 'old' in their name)
I too tried retrieving it from Steam Cloud, also didn't work (I'm attaching the screenshot, the save file I'm missing should be from 11/4/25 at 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
Finally, I went to D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\save-backups and found the save file I was looking for, extracted the folder (named "Garnachos_403644955") to the Desktop, copied it and overwrited the "Garnachos_403644955" file I already had on my C:\Users\moreo\AppData\Roaming\StardewValley\Saves. Initiated the game but didn't work, it still shows 11 days of the first summer when I had already reached day 18-19.
If anyone needs any other info, please tell me, I know it's not much time wasted but I'm scared that this could happen again, never happenned to me before.
