Ok So This is a little bit of a stretch, but...
What If Marlon is M.Jasper?
First Of all, His name starts with M. There are a lot of characters whose names also start with M, But do we really think Morris would be M.Jasper???
Second, Marlon runs the adventurers Guild. He has definitely been in the mines to some extent, and fights. Considering M.Jasper writes about The Mines, Dwarves, etc, A number of times, it could be pretty likely.
Third, He's old enough that he probably wrote the books when he was younger, or at least a while before the events of Stardew.
Fourth, Jasper is a type of mineral. Sure, that would apply more to Clint, but Again, Marlon Is the Subject here.
Finally, Though The Wizard's name starts with M, We only know his last name, which is definitely NOT Jasper.
Of course, M.Jasper Might not even be from pelican town. Or even still alive. But what are your thoughts?
