Switch Linus basket bug

Hi all. I am playing the game on Switch, English language. First time posting a bug, so sorry if I do it wrong.

I had just finished the Community Cleanup quest the day before, but hadn't seen the cutscene yet of Linus bathing in the lake. When I woke up that morning, I got the Blackberry Basket quest with Linus. I went to the backwoods and found the basket. When I went to the mountain area to return the basket to Linus, the Community Cleanup cutscene played. When it finished, the basket was gone from my inventory and the Blackberry Basket quest had disappeared from my log. I restarted the game and tried again; same thing happened.

I restarted the game a second time and tried going to the mountain to view the cutscene first before getting the basket. This worked, and the basket remained in my inventory when I went back to the mountain.

I just replicated excactly the same bug in my savefile on xbox. For me the basket quest had been lying around for a bit before I got to completing it. I got the community cleanup done and claimed the rewards from it, but I did not spend the red prize ticket yet. I went to grab the basket, minecarted to the mines, and upon exiting the mine, I got to see linus soaking happily in the lake. The quest completion jingle played. Idk if this is supposed to happen since I already completed the cleanup quest? My guess is that it comes from the supposed completion of returning the basket.

After the cutscene, I had zero baskets in my inventory and no additional money, but the quest had dissappeared from my questlist.

The bug seems to happen every time you simultaneously have the basket in your inventory and get the cleanup cutscene. Idk if any other things get messed up in the game since I just reset the day and avoided the bug.

Srry, don't have savefiles to upload since extracting savefiles from an xbox game is a pain. I can do it if it's crucial for this bug. :)

You’re not supposed to get money from that quest, the reward is just friendship with Linus. Did your friendship go up?
