Hello,
I'd like to report a bug on Playstation. Possible spoilers ahead concerning Ginger Island.
It appears that in raising Leo's friendship too quickly, it has caused me to miss a 7 heart event.
He has now moved to the valley, and I have completely raised his friendship to the maximum level.
This means that he has not sent me his "Sticky mango rice" recipe. This is the final recipe needed for perfection in my case.
On console, we do not have the option to choose from a previous save file.
The solution is simple for those who wish to avoid this bug in the first place; don't raise Leo's friendship until you have done all of his "events". But for those who have, we're stuck. Please can someone advise what we should do?
What I've tried:
- Ensure the game is up to date with the current patch on Playstation.
- Advancing days by sleeping and checking the mailbox.
- Attempted to load a previous cloud save (the console version of previous save, and it was unsuccessful)
- Force restart the game, talking to Leo to attempt to trigger something
- Revisited previous areas on Ginger Island to attempt to force the event to trigger.
Edit note: As per the template above, the game is in version 1.6 (current latest update as of September 24th 2025), singleplayer, in game language is English.
Any advice would be welcome and appreciated, Thank you!
