Hope I’m reporting this correctly.
I saw someone post this issue with the PlayStation but not for the switch.
Year five, I enter Leo’s hut next to Linus’s hut during winter right after waking. I’m at eight hearts and then I present him with a loved gift (mango) and my friendship level goes to nine. Upon exiting the hut a cutscene starts showing Leo and Linus cooking over a campfire and then goes to a scene on the library. When the library scene fades the screen goes black and I can’t do anything except press the “X,” crafting button to bring up the game menu and I have to exit the game and reload.
I’ve tried this four times and it goes black each time.
it seems to be an issue with leveling up Leo’s friendship to level 9. As long as I don’t gift him anything and raise his friendship level, the game doesn’t shut down.
Don’t know if this is an issue with the current update since I’ve only played this game once and I only have one save file.
Hope that’s specific enough.
