Mac journal icon disappeared

hi! i'm not new to the game but i am new to this forum. I'm on year 5 spring 22, i was halfway working towards marnie's hardwood request when all of the sudden the journal disappeared? i didn't run out of time so not sure what happened. i restarted the day and it was still gone (it might've popped back up for a second before disappearing again). i don't use mods either. if anyone can help me lmk and thank you!!!

Do you have a screenshot? In my experience the journal should always be there even if you don’t have quests. Does it open when you press J?

what day did you pick up the quest?

Are you referring to one of Robin's special order quest? If so, keep in mind that any of those quests that give you a week to complete them reset on Mondays. So even if you accepted the quest part way through the week, you still only have until the end of the day on Sunday to complete it.
