Is there a purpose/reason to date every NPC?

Beyond seeing their heart events, will I be missing out on any useful content if I don't get to 10 hearts with every bachelor and bachelorette?

I mostly mean things like recipes, be it for food or for items. Things like furniture- I know Leah gives some art items, and I know other NPCS seem to have exclusive things too- aren't considered "useful" in my eyes.

Nope, the only reason to date them all and get them all up to 10 hearts is so that when you get all the other NPCs up to 10 hearts and look at your friendship tab... everyone's at 10 hearts. (Just remember to carry around a rabbit's foot for luck if you're trying anything as dangerous as dating literally everyone in town. )

No all recipes are received by 8 hearts with all marriage and non marriage candidates. I like to stick to one guy per save file period. It’s best for me and my in game children. I know it’s not reality but I can’t do that even in a game lol.

Yeah same, maybe I'll have one evil character where I marry everyone just for the items and portrait, but otherwise I feel a little bad going on a divorcing rampage then wiping everyone's memory
