PC Invite code missing after windows update

I recently updated my laptop and the option to enter Invite Code for Co-op playing didn't show up.
I restarted steam, SDV, my computer, but nothing worked. So I thought it might be related to the recent Windows upgrade I had.
I only have Windows firewall and no other firewall software. I checked the setting on Windows firewall and it was allowing both steam and SDV to go through the firewall.
So I thought it wasn't the firewall issue but when I temporarily disabled the entire firewall, then the option to enter Invite Code reappeared again.

Is there a better solution to this than disabling my entire firewall every time I play?
