Android Infinite duplicated items

I was a bit tired and was trying to place a stack of fire quartz from a chest to my inventory. Unfortunately instead of a free space in my inventory I placed in on my galaxy sword. This turned the stack into another galaxy sword.
This appears to also work for single items in chests and not just fire quartz.
Am now having trouble rebuilding a stock of fire quartz aha
