Anna was a 13 year old 8th grader of African descent living in a 10-appartment house nearby a train station. She enjoyed playing Stardew Valley on her laptop. Its PC specs are these: Running Windows 10 on an Intel i3 8145U, an integrated GPU and 8 GB of RAM. She was more than happy with Stardew Valley, until on a specific Sunday. It was heavily raining and she was peacefully playing Stardew Valley. Suddendly she heard a hard knock on the door. "FBI, OPEN UP!". She thought "What the ??? What did I do???". Suddendly the door fell off its hinges. "Mom, Dad, what are you doing? Why are you impersonating the FBI?". Anna's dad took a quick look on the screen of Anna's laptop. "Anna, what the are you playing??? Stardew Valley is too violent!". Anna's mum added: "Your laptop is too slow for that bull" game. Also that game is not for kids like you.". "But mama, I am already 13 years old and thanks to Mr. Rogers I improved in Technology and Geography.". Anna's dad: "You should play some real video games, that are more suitable for people like you. Like for example CS:GO, GTA or Valorant. Those are more friendly and can also run on your laptop.". "I am satisfied with Stardew Valley! What do you want?". Anna's mom: "No wonder, why they call you the P, R, N and D word in school. You should not have started playing Stardew Valley at the first place. The 15€ were a waste of money.". Anna: "How does Stardew Valley relate to that? They were jealous that Mr. Rogers praised me for my efforts in Geography. Stardew Valley is my hobby to relax if it rains like now". Anna's dad: "Listen, Stardew Valley will make you more toxic than League of Legends. You are addicted to that game!". Anna while being puzzled, opened Steam and showed her parents the "Played in the last 2 weeks" stats. She played only 11 hours within the last 14 days. Anna’s mom was adding, "If you’d played actual games, like as dad mentioned, GTA or Wolfenstein, you would score better in school.". Anna: "Why do you encourage me to play NSFW games over Stardew Valley?". "Just grow the up!".
In the next week on Saturday, Anna and her parents went on a quick train trip. Knowing that her parents regularly fare evade almost getting into trouble with the police, she bought from her minijob money a train ticket in advance. With the ticket, of which the destination field was labeled with "オスナブリュック" hidden, she boarded with the family the train. After they seated, Anna's mom asked: "Where is your iPad?". "I left it at home, as I wanted to enjoy the landscape.". "Man! But we could install Fortnite on your tablet! So you play on the train! Do you have your phone with you?". "Ehm yes, for emergencies to call police under 110 or fire brigade and ambulance under 112. But you told me 2 years ago that you will ABSOLUTELY NOT install games on my phone.". Anna's dad: "Give me your phone. Now!". Anna sighed and gave reluctantly the phone to her dad. Suddendly a ticket inspector appeared and Anna prepared secretly her ticket to "オスナブリュック". "Your ticket please.". Anna showed the ticket inspector her ticket. The ticket inspector thoroughly read Anna's ticket that was from "ミュンスター" to "オスナブリュック" and said: "OK". Now the inspector went to Anna's parents. "Your ticket please.". Anna's mom, shocked, reacted: "Ehm, let me search for it...". Anna's dad: "Ehm, we have no tickets.". The inspector reacted with: "So, please explain me, why you have no tickets.". "Ehm, we didn't have money for the train. So we just boarded it.". Anna immediately facepalmed after hearing the dumb excuse by her parents. The ticket inspector immediately wrote a 60€ fine to Anna's parents. Because they were her parents, the ticket inspector let them ride the whole trip to the end. Some minutes before arrival, Anna's dad gave her her phone back. In the first minutes of arrival, Anna wanted to take a photo with her phone but she was met with the loud startup sound of Supercell's theme. Anna became angry. "What did you do with my phone?????". On Anna's phone the start menu of Clash Royale was visible. Suddendly she got a warning saying "No storage left". Worriyingly she thought: "A virus? Lemme check that.". She initiated a scan but no viruses were found. On the first bench she immediately uninstalled all the games off her phone, namely Clash Royale, Candy Crush, Subway Surfers and several more.
The next day when Anna wanted to finish a homework on her laptop, her laptop's processor fans went insane. On the laptop screen suddendly Steam was starting. Then she saw that the newest versions of the games "Assassin Creed", "Cyberpunk 2077" and "GTA 5" tried to start at the same time by seeing the green text of the corresponding game's names. She tried to press Ctrl Shift Escape to open Task Manager but it was too late. Her whole laptop monitor was showing the frames at 10 seconds per frame. The laptop fans turned louder and louder and the laptop became hotter and hotter. It was so hot, that Anna dashed to the kitchen to get the oven gloves to touch the laptop. The games have crashed, freeing up some RAM: She opened CoreTemp to check the CPU temperature. It was 155°C, so she immediately power cycled the PC. Then she went to the living room and asked furiously: "WHAT THE DID YOU DO WITH MY PC???". Anna's mother: "We installed some pedagogically better games for you.". "BUT WHY DID YOU MAKE ALL THOSE GAME AUTOSTART AT ONCE???". "We wanted you to drop Stardew Valley. It is too bad for your health.". "BUT YOU KNEW MY LAPTOP WAS NOT ABLE TO HANDLE THE LOAD!!! NOW MY LAPTOP IS UNUSABLE!!! BRING IT TO REPAIR SHOP A.S.A.P TOMORROW!!!". Anna was so aggressive that she ripped parts of her afro off her head.
On Monday, Anna had school as usual. In IT class her teacher asked her: "Why did you not submit your homework?". Anna: "My parents broke my laptop by installing software on my laptop that can't be run due to CPU limit. Now my laptop gets hot up to 155°C and autostarts like 7 games at once. I will bring it to the repair shop today evening." "Oh no... What had happened at home?". "My parents think that Stardew Valley is too violent and too hard for my laptop and too NSFW and then they suggest me more serious games like GTA. I am not 18 yet.". "I will talk with your parents about that.". "Please don't! My parents are criminals! They constantly fare evade when we take the train. Last time it was on Saturday when we went to "オスナブリュック". I better get my laptop repaired.". Anna's IT teacher suggested: "Bring it first to me tomorrow. I will look what I can do.". "Thank you Mr. Stark.". The IT lesson ended soon afterwards.
