I've done that 3 times, and watched it demonstrated a few.
Never done rubidium, it's supposedly has the best explosion (caesium technically would, but it's radioactive, so we can never know without hazmat suits.)

I think francium is actually the best explosion, but it is gone in just a few minutes so yeah
