Issue i don't have a mod folder and i cant get sve to work

I've tried downloading sve, but I don't know where to put it since i don't have a mods folder

You just create a folder called Mods under Stardew Valley / game and move the extracted mod folder there. Or is there something that prevents you from doing that?

so i did that, and it didn't work

Do you have SMAPI installed? Or what happens when you try to use the mod?
