I can't remember why I needed 14 banana saplings

Hello,

This is a bit of a silly post lol, but I reopened my main save file and saw on my To-Dew list that I needed to collect 14 banana saplings... I remember I was struggling with this, however I just don't remember why on earth I wanted them. Are they used for anything other than just to plant them?

I'm assuming I had a weird goal in mind since I'd completed the game, but I just wanted to check if I'm forgetting something obvious as to why I might have wanted that many saplings...

As far as I know it can only be used to be planted, and the only thing I could think of is that you need bananas for the island obelisk and a cooking recipe. But if you had completed the game, I actually have no idea :(

They are one of the most profitable crops available, at least if you plant them in the Greenhouse or on the island where they grow year round. More profitable than Pomegranate or Peach. Perhaps you were on a money grind?

You can grow 18 fruit trees along the edge of the greenhouse. Do you already have two?

I would assume it's for this reason, probably just trying to do that little bit to optimize the greenhouse with banana saplings as opposed to peach/pomegranate

(or it could be for decorational purposes)
