1.6 Update Husband Sebastian only ever gives me coffee - is it normal?

Hey everyone, this is my very first post in this community and nice to meet you all ^_^

The title is quite self-explanatory anyways, so I have been married to Sebastian for about 3 full seasons now and he has only ever given me coffee, apart from 1x beer on New Year's Eve.
There was recently a rainy day but he did not give me anything "from the cave" as some other online resources suggest.

So I wanna know whether this is normal according to your experiences? Since I would really love to see some variations in our marriage life just so things would stay alive...

Thanks for your reply! Things haven't improved meanwhile and I realised that after having our 1st child, he stopped giving me any form of gifts whatsoever DDD:

Is it the same for you? What about others who are married to other NPCs?

What's your heart level with him? I think you don't get gifts if you let it drop too much.

I have been at 14 hearts with him ever since first achieving that since I talk to him + give a loved gift to him daily D:
Not sure what's wrong there...

Dialogue is random so it's possible you're just not rolling the dialogue. There are 5 different rainy morning dialogues unique to Sebastian and the one where he gives you a random item from the mines is just one of them! So, really, if you've passed, like, 15 rainy days and talk to him every morning and all that good stuff then it's definitely weird (or statistical anomalies are afoot)

I will say it's not super common and him giving coffee more often tracks for him
