How can I report a potential copyright issue to the developer?

Hi, I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I would really appreciate some guidance.

I recently came across a creator on Xiaohongshu (ID: xuegaoSY) who appears to be using Stardew Valley assets with AI to generate very similar characters and buildings, and selling related content. It seems to involve monetization and very close resemblance to in-game assets, while the creator claims the work is entirely original, which feels somewhat misleading.

Here are the links:

Profile link

I’m not sure what the correct way is to report something like this, or how to make sure the developer is aware of it. Could anyone advise on the best way to handle this?

Thank you very much for your help.

I had no idea they had an email like that—your message was so timely, thank you Luna!!:flower:
No problem! There are multiple Stardew valley email accounts that you can contact but since this could be a legel issue I would contact this email “@stardewvalley.net”

I checked the products on Rednote aka Xiaohongshu as I am Chinese and I have this APP on my phone.
I know we should condemn the behavior like this.
He exploited the loophole of the mechanism of fan work to get benefit.

But it costs too much to protect the rights and interests of copyright in internet and I don't think he is the only one.
I am not on his side I just wanna say it is not worth taking time and effort to sue this person.

With that being said, if ConcernedAPE intends to prosecute the replica, I can definately help something there.
