Help with unlocking the greenhouse before winter

I'm going to start a new play through, I'm wanting to strategize getting the greenhouse up and running before winter. The Quality Crop bundle is usually the one that I have issues with. The other ones are usually fine, because I'm able to (usually) find the needed items through the traveling cart, or I get a Coop and Barn way before winter with the needed animals. Though upgrading them to deluxe in one game year tends to be difficult for me because of the money.

I like to fish in the game. It's a great money making technique. (Can never seem to get a legend or an Octopus, though).

I'm wanting to get my farming level up to 6 for the quality sprinklers ASAP as well.

Should I choose Mushroom Cave or Fruit Bat Cave? Fruit Bat Cave is pretty good for the Artisan Bundle, and once I get to farming level 8 I can create kegs. The Mushroom Cave is nice for energy, and you do get a free dehydrator. So any suggestions there would be nice.

I'm thinking the Meadowlands Farm for the free coop and two chickens. Though, the Riverland Farm is great for the free Fish Smoker. So any advice with either of these would be nice. You can also suggest one of the other farms as well. I know Standard Farm is great for growing crops.

Just any help/tips/advice that you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Give remixed bundles a try. Depending on what you get, it may make things a lot easier.

But if you want to try to bust out the quality crops bundle, make sure you use fertilizer, and check the saloon for anything that can temporarily boost farming level. I always forget the second step, so it's definitely not necessary, but should help if you're having trouble.

I've never tried farming boosts, but fertilizer is the trick for getting quality crops! As soon as you can start making it. Sap is abundant, and the basic fertilizer usually enough to get a gold quality here and there.
