PC [HELP] Steam Overlay not working

Ever since the 1.5 update, my Steam Overlay does not work with Stardew Valley.
It works with other games EXCEPT Stardew Valley.

I have done the following and still no fixes to it

• Uninstalling and installing Stardew Valley
• Uninstalling and installing Steam
• Verifying Integrity of files
• Restarting the game
• Changing resolution of game
• Changing to windowed to borderless and to fullscreen
• Disabling and re enabling Steam Overlay

If anyone has a solution, please let me know.

You are not alone. I started having the same issue about 45 minutes ago. Has been working fine until then. Even played this morning, the around 9pm EST it just stopped working. Nothing I do fixes it.
