it’s not connected to using her sewing machine, it’s just random when those quests show up on the board.

It should come up again, unless you accepted it once and then cancelled it.

not true, the quest board quests will come up again until you have completed them. Failing or cancelling them does not mean they won’t come again.

Even if you cancelled it, you're still fine for quests from the special orders board. The only way to truly get rid of it is to have another multiplayer farmer exit while the quest is active for them (and even then it'll be available once they log back in and sync their quests)
